Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use Lawyers Africa, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the whole site, in all seven languages.

What we have done

  • Each page has one main heading and a logical order of headings.
  • The site can be used with a keyboard alone, and links and buttons show where the focus is.
  • The country map has a text alternative: every country is also listed by name and can be chosen from a drop-down list.
  • Colors were chosen for readable contrast, and information is never given by color alone.
  • The language of each page is set for screen readers, and Arabic pages read right to left.
  • Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The layout adapts to phones and to text enlarged up to 200%.

Known limitations

  • Firm and official websites we link to are not under our control and may not be accessible.
  • Some names appear in their original language and script, as published by the firm or body.
  • Our forms use a third-party tool. If a form does not work for you, email us instead and we will handle your request the same way.

How we checked

This statement is based on our own review of the site with automated checks and keyboard testing.

Feedback and help

If you have trouble using any part of the site, or need information in another format, email [email protected] with the page address and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply within five working days.

Date of this statement

This statement was prepared in October 2026. We review it at least once a year and whenever the site changes significantly.
