lawyersafrica.com, operated by Spencer Gasselin LLC, is an independent directory of law firms in Africa. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal services or advice, and we do not refer matters to lawyers.
Listings
Listings are based on information firms publish on their own websites, checked at the time shown, and, where stated, on public official rolls. Firms change their offices, lawyers and practice areas, so information here may be out of date. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation or ranking.
Where firms are listed
We decide whether a firm is listed, and on which pages, under the rules on our How we list page.
Paid placements
Some firms pay for Enhanced or Country Featured profiles. These are always labeled. A paid placement is advertising, not a recommendation. Each firm is responsible for complying with its own professional rules.
No legal advice
Our guides are general information only. Laws and procedures differ between countries and change; take advice from a lawyer admitted in the country concerned.
Instructing a lawyer
Any engagement is between you and the firm. Check the lawyer’s admission, the engagement terms and fees before you instruct anyone. We are not responsible for any firm’s services, conduct or charges.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site, submit false information, scrape it at scale or try to interfere with how it works.

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Spencer Gasselin LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US$100.
